While the different variations may look similar, they are not the same. Borosilicate glass is a significant upgrade from traditional glass, and is completely non toxic. These differences can make a big impact on your health and the environment when compounded over time.
Why is it better than normal glass ?
All our glass products are made of borosilicate glass and its a type of glass that contains boron trioxide which allows for a very low coefficient of thermal expansion. This means it will not crack under extreme temperature changes like regular glass.
Borosilicate glass can resist the temperature difference of -20 degrees C to 150 degrees C.
